I observed in Helen Gerard's first grade classroom for a minimum of three hours once a week. There I learned about classroom managment and transitions among many other valuable skills. I was able to assist Mrs. Gerard in teaching phonics lessons, tutor students in reading, and help students with worksheets and daily tasks.

I worked with Royale Walter in her fourth grade classroom every Tuesday for the entire class day. I taught one lesson a week in the concentrations of Reading, Math, and Science. Royale allowed me to embrace the school and the dynamics of it. The information I learned from her I will carry with me forever.
